On the strength of Council of Głogów Poviat resolution No. VI/54/2007 dated 28 March 2007, a complex of a public establishment of continuing and practical education was founded under the name of Professional Education Centre in Głogów at Piaskowa 1. The complex is composed of different types of establishments:
Practical Education Centre in Głogów – student practical job training.
Continuing Education Centre in Głogów – continuing education and in-service training for adults.
Professional Education and Training Centre in Głogów – juvenile personnel training and adult personnel job training.
